With the World Test Championship (WTC) Final reaching its Reserve Day (Day 6), India will be hoping to defeat New Zealand on Wednesday, at The Ageas Bowl in Southampton. After bowling out New Zealand for 249, the Indian team is batting at 64 for the loss of two wickets in the third innings of the match. Team India has taken a lead of 32 runs and they will look to take the maximum advantage in the opening session of the game. Skipper Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara are at the crease for the Indian team batting with full confidence while on the other side, Tim Southee from New Zealand had dismissed both the openers and he got a lot of help from the Day 5 pitch in moving the ball. Hello and Welcome to sixth and the final day of WTC final, its a sunny day at Southampton and we are expected to have a full day of play on the reserve day. A total of 98 overs will be played on the reserve day and if we fail to get the winner then the trophy will be shared between the two teams.
India lost both the openers Shubman Gill (8) and Rohit Sharma (30) in the last session of Day 5.
Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara are on the crease and they will look to take maximum advantage in the first session.
