Indians season opener marks first live event on Bally Sports Great Lakes

CLEVELAND, OH — Marking the beginning of a new era in regional sports coverage and content, Bally Sports Great Lakes (rebranded from SportsTime Ohio) will feature live coverage of the Indians season opener in Detroit on Thursday, April 1. (Schedules are subject to change and territorial restrictions apply; check local listings.)

11 a.m. Bally Sports’ Big Opening Day Show 

It all begins at 11 a.m. with Bally Sports’ Big Opening Day Show. For the first time ever, the Bally Sports regional networks will offer fans across the country a whip-around style MLB Opening Day broadcast, complete with expert analysis, interviews and more. Stadium’s Danny Graves will cover MLB and player breakdowns, including leadup coverage of Indians-Tigers. The show will highlight the Indians with season and series previews, interviews with Terry Francona and Shane Bieber, and a live look at Indians batting practice at Detroit’s Comerica Park. The 1.5-hour special will also feature NBA updates from Stadium’s Shams Charania along with a preview of that night’s Cavs vs. 76ers game (7 p.m. ET on Bally Sports Ohio).

12:30 p.m. Indians Live Pregame Show | 1 p.m. Indians @ Tigers 

Season Opener festivities will continue at 12:30 p.m. ET on Bally Sports Great Lakes. Al Pawlowski and Jensen Lewis will host Indians Live pregame show leading into the live coverage of the Indians @ Tigers game at 1:00 p.m. ET. The game will feature Matt Underwood and Rick Manning in the booth with Andre Knott reporting.

Indians Live postgame edition will air immediately after the game, providing fans with commentary, features, highlights, player interviews and analysis.
